A group of U.S. Catholics wants all 50 states to investigate public schools for sexual abuse of minors, according to an open letter by the group’s president made public Wednesday morning.
In his letter to state attorneys general, William Donohue with the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights wrote that the recent decision by some states to investigate Roman Catholic clergy for alleged sex abuse “smacks of bigotry.” READ MORE HERE
